219 - Rik Mack (IDW Sonic)

This week, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Rik Mack, artist extraordinaire, who's been working on IDW's Sonic comic, among other projects. We got into his love for SEGA since his early years, how influential Fleetway's Sonic the Comic was for him, and how Rik ended up fulfilling his dream of working on a comic about SEGA's blue blur.

A long time Sega fan, Rik is an artist/writer who worked on a bunch of Sonic The Hedgehog fancomics which lead to working on IDW's Transformers, and then Sonic The Hedgehog, primarily as an inker.

Along with colouring 3 issues of the latest Felix the Cat comic, he's been a colour assistant on Sonic, My Little Pony and Godzilla too! With the release of Fang the Hunter #4 Rik will officially have worked on a dozen Sonic comics for IDW!
