117 - Howard Drossin (Part I)

117 - Howard Drossin (Part I)

On the week of SEGA's 60th anniversary (#GOSEGA, #SEGA60th), it's an honor to welcome legendary composer Howard Drossin to The SEGA Lounge. We've had such a great conversation that it had to be split into two parts. Listen to this week's episode for the first as Howard shares his beginnings as a musician and some interesting facts behind his time at the SEGA Technical Institute in the 1990's.

This week's guest in an American musician and composer who joined the SEGA Technical Institute in the 1990's and worked on games such as Sonic Spinball, Sonic & Knuckles, Comix Zone and The Ooze, during his tenure. He later wrote music for Die Hard Arcade and Dynamite Cop, Alien Front Online and even Sonic and the Black Knight. He is now focused on writing music for films.

This was one of the most interesting interviews I ever did on the show and we spent so much time talking that I had to split the interview into 2 parts.

It's my pleasure to open the doors of the Lounge to the great Howard Drossin. Stay tuned for the first part of the interview as Howard talks about his beginnings as a musician, working at STI and takes our Quickshots challenge.
