This week's guest is a true industry legend: Jon Hare, co-founder of Sensible Software, creators of such classics as Sensible Soccer, Cannon Fodder and Mega-Lo-Mania. He is also co-founder and CEO of Tower Studios, and currently working on Sociable Soccer. This is a very interesting and insightful interview with a man who's seen a lot of change in the industry, and not all of it good.

This week we're celebrating the 30th anniversary of a series that's been synonymous with SEGA since its inception: ToeJam & Earl. I've invited some of our homies from the SEGA community to share their memories of these thirty years and their hopes for the future of the funky alien duo from Funkotron. There's lots of that and music. I mean it. Glorious music.

Our mid-season finale focuses on Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX, a remake of the Master System classic developed by Jankenteam and published by Merge Games. Since the game is now out, I invited some friends over to chat about our thoughts on the game. Joining me for this round table are Manuel Melgar, aka Köpke, Renato Almeida and Graham Cookson. In the distant year of 2013, I had the pleasure of interviewing Scott Davies, a programmer, SEGA fan, and the creator of RetroAchievements, a project that intended to add achievements to old games. This week, I'm joined on The SEGA Lounge by Meleu, a staffer over at RetroAchievements. We talk about the site's inception, Meleu's work with the RA community and what's in store for the future. This week's guest is Mikael Tillander, the Swedish developer behind a fairly recent Mega Drive game called Tänzer. It's a blend of different genres, the most notable ones being platformer, hack 'n' slash and shoot-em-up. A fast-paced action game with an amazing soundtrack that you can get for your Mega Drive or Genesis in physical format. I talk to Mikael about his hobby as a video game developer, his newfound love for the SEGA Mega Drive and what to expect from him in the future. Check it out.

I had a great time recording this interview and learning about the guys' love for SEGA and how they got together to start the podcast.
